SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering expert services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed regarding the high range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim with SRD the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This really is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The services place created for intervention encounters a superior influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it difficult to the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
